This month, we’re honored to spotlight Mrs. Jodi Virant, the March 2025 Teacher of the Month! With over 34 years of experience in early childhood education, Mrs. Virant’s passion for teaching has left an incredible impact on generations of students.
A Lifelong Passion for Teaching
📍 Current Role: Director & Pre-K3/Pre-K4 Teacher at Bethel Lutheran School, Bay City
📚 Education: Master of Arts in Learning Disabilities – Madonna University (1998)
👩🏫 Experience: Teaching in Canada, Wisconsin, and Michigan since 1991
Mrs. Virant’s journey has taken her through multiple schools, from Lola Park Lutheran School in Redford to Gloria Dei Lutheran Preschool in Grand Blanc. Since 2011, she has been a guiding force at Bethel Lutheran School, where she leads with kindness, patience, and unwavering dedication.
More Than Just a Teacher
Beyond the classroom, Mrs. Virant enjoys:
🐶 Walking with her husband and their golden retriever
📖 Reading and playing the piano
🏡 Home decorating and lawn care
👨👩👧👦 Spending quality time with her family
