Mrs. Virant was born and raised in Wisconsin. Her teaching journey has taken her across Canada, Michigan, and Wisconsin, enriching her experience in early childhood education.
She is married to her husband Mark and enjoys a variety of activities, including:
- Walking with her husband & their golden retriever
- Spending time with family
- Playing the piano
- Reading
- Home decorating
- Lawn care
Her passion for teaching and nurturing continues to inspire this next generation of young learners at Bethel Lutheran School.

From this point forward, you will slowly begin to transform into the godly person you've been praying you would someday become.
This new person will naturally crave to do the good works the Bible talks about. You'll begin to naturally desire the same things that God does & become more like the person He made you to be — your own will will start to align with His. And this is where 2 Corinthians 5:17 becomes reality: "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"

This Month in History
On March 9, 1946, strong winds pushed ice floes onto Killarney and Ricomo Beaches along Saginaw Bay, approximately five miles north of Bay City. The ice reached heights of 40 feet along a two-mile stretch, crushing 100 cottages in its path.
It only rarely pushes onto shore in dramatic, 25-foot piles to threaten houses. By our count, it has occurred in 1946, 1948, 1952, 1968, 1970, and 1984.
